Caitlin Alexander
Shortly after graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Caitlin Alexander won the 2013 Austin SCBWI portfolio competition. Her clients now include What's Up Annapolis? magazine, The Art Garage, Inviting Affairs, PERC Coffee, The Kloud Agency, Geneologie, and Bearded Lady Screenprints. Caitlin is part of Square Carousel, an online-based art collective she co-founded with fellow SCAD graduates (http://www.squarecarousel.com). Her love of animals, silliness, and color help Caitlin keep a youthful point-of-view, so much so that as an adult, she's still a huge fan of Big Bird. Caitlin enjoys using the dry-brush technique while working in gouache, but she's just as adept at digital painting. She lives in the delightfully weird town of Austin, Texas.
