Lea Mari Ravotti
Lea Marie is an illustrator originally from the Czech Republic, where she graduated with an MA in Art Education and Art History. She lives in the woods of Pennsylvania with her husband and their three girls. Her dream was to move to an old lighthouse with no internet, but her children said no.
Lea entered the world of picture books when her children were younger, and fell in love with the blend of storytelling and art. She believes that picture books are the first art galleries for children. Her days are spent illustrating or writing her own stories. Her favorite things to draw are mischievously happy children, bicycles, and desserts. Her not so favorite things to draw are robots, spaceships, or any kind of machinery--but maybe that will change!
