Dawn Simon
Dawn Simon writes middle-grade and young-adult novels. Her favorite stories to read or write have humor and heart—and often a bit of magic! Two of her novels were finalists in the Pacific Northwest Writers’ Association Literary Contest, and one was a finalist in the San Francisco Writing Contest.
Dawn earned a teaching certificate with an Elementary Education endorsement from the University of San Diego. She works as a Special Ed para-educator, and her favorite part of her job is working with young readers. She lives with her family (which includes one dog and eight chickens) on an island near Seattle.
