M. A. Moris
M. A. Moris grew up in her very own "100-Acre Wood" where the trees and woodland creatures helped raise her. The family pets were sometimes joined by rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, turtles and even a pet crow—all of which led to an exuberant love of nature. She has an MFAC in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hamline University and currently writes fantasy novels for Middle Grade readers. When she is not reading, writing, or daydreaming, M. A. Moris likes to play with oil paints, yarn and dirt—although not all at once. She and her husband live in Roseville, Minnesota with two rescue dogs who still get jealous when she makes peanut butter sandwiches for the resident crows.
